Dude

Hi! My name is Dude or the Dude or Dude man. I am an energetic young male German Shepherd. The rescue is not sure exactly how old I am because I was found abandoned at a truckstop in Texas( Estimated between 1 to 2 years old)A very kind lady saved me and brought me to her house but unfortunately she could not keep me so White Paws Rescue saved my life. I had a rough start because I wasn't taken care of and I had heartworm disease. I went through that treatment. It was very hard, but I came out a winner. Fast forward to my life the last couple weeks, my foster mom and dad here in Wisconsin say I am the absolute best boy. I am so happy and friendly. I love all people and all dogs. I just want to be everyone's friend. They don't think that I ever lived in a house before because I don't really understand the rules here but my foster mom and dad are teaching me the rules and I learn very quickly. Like how am I supposed to know that I can chew on that rubber ball thing but not that croc shoe thing? I know that I have to go potty outside and I've never gone in the house. I go in my crate when my foster mom and dad ask me to and I sleep there all night. I really like going for walks and I walk good on a leash. I love rides in the car. My foster mom brought me to three stores today to try to get this thing put in me called a chip and I was so good in every store and I loved the car! Because I was so sick getting the heartworm treatment, I am a little thin so I eat three times a day but really I could eat 12 times a day if they let me! I know how to sit and how to come to my name. I'm learning that not all food is mine and to wait before rushing out the door. Oh wait my foster mom says I'm also supposed to tell you that I am absolutely stunning, whatever that means.
