Duke here to be your new best friend! I need a cattle dog or working dog experienced owner! I was originally adopted from HOPE at the start of 2022. My parents took good care of me and tried to keep up as much as they could but unfortunately, they ended up having to surrender me back. My issues are only a result of my breed. I am born to run, work, play, as much as I can. They said I jumped short fences, got too excited around kids, and just had too much energy for the house, that I did whatever I could to get outdoors when I was bored. I really need someone that can take me for all the walks, runs and hikes, teach me tricks or agility, put me to work somewhere, anything! The people here can't get over how smart i am, I am motivated and eager to learn all the time. They love how affectionate and friendly I am, always excited to meet a new person. I am potty trained and crate trained, do great with other dogs, but definitely am not good with cats.
