Dunbar

Meet Dunbar aka Koda Bear, a young, catlle dog mix. Dunbar is expected to be 50-65 pounds once full grown. This guy is a project that needs to go to the perfect family for him. The perfect family would be able to set boundaries and correct negative behavior all while building confidence and rewarding positive behavior. Dunlap has developed some traits that need fine-tuning, and all are based on fear. He is extremely wary of new people and takes a bit to trust and feel safe, but once he does he is a love and a sweet and loyal guy! He is still just a big pup so with consistent training, he can flourish into the dog we know he can be. He has been good around cats and smaller dogs, but exhibits fear around larger dogs, and he is showing some toy and food resource guarding behaviors that need worked on. He is mostly potty-trained, smart, and used to being in a home with a regular routine. If you are patient, willing to do the work and help this guy, you will have the most amazing best friend!
