Meet Dunkel He is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd who came to us through no fault of his own. He is a playful and energetic boy who just wants to be loved and treated like part of the family he will follow you everywhere. He is super smart and good with other dogs. He absolutely loves going on long walks and being outside and has some favorite toys he plays with. We are working with him on potty training since he been an outside dog most of his life and he is doing great! He does not like to be crated, but has shown no destructive behavior when left outside of a crate. Dunkel would best thrive in an active home where he can be walked and played with often as well as loved at all times (he loves giving hugs!) He still needs to be fully vetted, but we are taking applications. All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need.
