My Story

Animal Profile: Dusty is an estimated 1 yr old, 65 lb neutered male mixed breed -- likely lab with shepherd -- who was found as a stray in San Bernardino and taken in by our rescue partner. In foster care in California he has lived with several other dogs; he loves to play with playful dogs and is respectful of older, grumpy dogs as well as small dogs. He's doing great with house training and crate training, and walks well on a leash. We will share more info as we get to know Dusty in DGS foster care. Foster Update: Dusty is a total love bug! He is such a sweet boy who would love to be your walking or hiking buddy! He really likes to play with my dogs, so a home with another friendly pup or pups would be ideal for him. He is crate and potty trained and walks well on leash. He is quite strong so a confident handler will be best for Dusty. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue. Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: Dusty was a stray in San Bernardino taken in to rescue with ARF on Jan 6, 2024. He was transferred to Dog Gone Seattle, arriving to Seattle area foster care on 2/18/24. He will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
