Dutch- adopted!

Dutch has been adopted by a wonderful family near Castlegar. Above is a pic of him lapping up the love with his new Firefighter Papa. They have 4 fenced acres, a girl dog for him to hang out with, breed-knowledge, and experience. Exactly the kind of home every dog deserves, especially those misunderstood breeds, such as this one!

Dutch is just heading into our program. He was taken in by some kind neighbours when his family moved away without him. He is a purebred Presa that, his temporary family reports, has a a very nice temperment. The vet thinks that he is about 5 years old, and in good health. He is brindle, with natural ears and tail, and weighs about 110 lbs. He appears to be house-trained, knows basic training and so far seems to get along with other dogs. Like most guardian breeds Dutch can be protective of his property, and needs mature owners who understand this breed. He needs a home with a securely fenced yard, with no young children, or small animals. He is an awesome dog for the right person.

Dutch will be looking for a mastiff experiened home, who understands the responsibilities, along with the joys, of taking care of a Presa Canario. If interested in Dutch, please send us an email, and wow us with your breed-knowledge. Stay tuned for pics.
