Hey there! I'm Elliot, a 2.5-year-old Shepherd with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. I came to the shelter because my previous family realized I needed more space and attention than they could provide. Now, I'm on the lookout for a forever home where I can thrive and share my boundless energy and affection. I'm a busy bee with a playful and energetic personality. I absolutely adore rope toys and balls - if you throw them, I'll chase them all day long! Despite my high energy levels, I'm a goofball at heart and love to make my humans laugh with my silly antics. In my kennel, I sit very calmly, which shows just how well I can balance my playful side with a bit of calmness when needed. I get along wonderfully with other animals and am always ready for a good play session. I'm also great with kids and love all the attention they give me. Just so you know, I'm a bit scared of storms and will hide under the covers until they pass, but who doesn't have a little something that scares them, right? With lots of love and reassurance, I can get through those scary times. When I'm out on walks, my high energy shines through. I follow commands well and sometimes get a bit too excited, especially when I see squirrels or birds - it's all in good fun! I'm sometimes a bit wary of taller people approaching me, but with gentle introductions and positive reinforcement, I warm up quickly. I listen really well and am always eager to learn and please. My playful and hyper nature means I need a home where I can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. If you're an active person or family, we'll be a perfect match.
