Ember I am a beautiful 40 lb. female Black Mouth Cur/Lab mix born around 8/29/17! My story: I was found in the woods with multiple other dogs fending for ourselves. I was pregnant with horrible flea dermatitis that made me lose my hair and heartworm positive! Thankfully, The Artemis Project came to the rescue and took us in. But, several of the others went to rescues to be adopted out, but I was left behind. They take really good care of me here- my skin is healthy and my hair grew back! They even found great homes for my babies, but I've spent 240+ days in a kennel waiting for my turn. *I'm told I'm such a sweet girl! *I do well with other dogs and love people! * I have the cutest wiggly body when people great me and an adorable smile to match. I get so excited for LOVE and attention. *I'm spayed and UTD on my vaccines! *I'm doing great on my heartworm treatment! I just pray I find a home before the Arkansas heat gets here because it's harder on heartworm positive dogs.
