She was rescued from a crowded shelter after being picked up as a stray in need of medical attention. Emma had a large mass on her hind leg, nasty teeth, and a painful eye that needed to be removed. Thankfully, she was able to get the care she needed, and is now ready to live her golden years being spoiled like the queen she is! Emma is the epitome of calm and contentment. She's a reserved little lady who loves nothing more than to lay next to you on the couch, providing companionship and comfort. Emma is completely housebroken, and is remarkably quiet - in fact, we've never heard her bark! This makes her an ideal choice for apartment or condo living. Emma would be perfect for older adults or anyone seeking a peaceful, low-maintenance pet. She is crate trained and walks beautifully on a leash. One of Emma's favorite pastimes is going for car rides, especially if the ride will include a stop for ice cream! She enjoys the journey and is happy to accompany you wherever you go. While she gets along well with people, she can be a bit bossy with other dogs, so she might do best as the only pet in the household.
