Meet Ernest, a sweet and loyal, 6 year old, 17-pound Miniature Poodle. Ernest is an incredibly affectionate dog who loves nothing more than cuddling up next to his favorite humans. He is dog selective and happiest as an only dog. Ernest is well behaved on leash. He is house trained, but will need to learn your routine. Ernest prefers a calm and predictable routine. He can be a little shy when he first meets new people, but he warms up quickly with some patience and gentle encouragement. Ernest would prefer a home without children, but would be happy to nap in his crate if children visit occasionally. If you're a patient and understanding person looking for a loyal companion to share your life with, Ernest could be the perfect match for you. Adoption fee is waived to the right home. All adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO Representative to set up a meet and greet. We are a RESCUE, not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
