Ernie

Ernie is a very sweet senior age male Lhasa Apso purebred dog. He arrived as a stray after some very kind folks found him standing in the middle of a remote area on the road. He was adopted once a few weeks ago however Ernie was jealous of the new adopters cat and over-protective of his new owner (he bonds quickly with his people pals). So back came Ernie to look for his new person or family!

Ernie is so CUTE with his little snaggle-tooth! He is as sweet and silly as they get! He loves and adores being around his people pals; he just thinks that is the best way to spend time! He is a Meet Your Match purple 'Teacher's Pet'! Ernie is a snuggler and loves sitting on laps! But don't let his age fool you; he is very spry and active! He LOVES to be outside and loves strolling along on his leash walks! So adorable!

Ernie is an older fellow and qualifies for the shelter's 'Senior for Senior' Program. The shelter really wants to find this great guy a home so he doesn't have to live the rest of his life at the shelter. Since he is a Senior, already neutered, and up to date on his vaccines, his adoption rate is $25 PLUS will include a free professional grooming donated by a kind supporter!

An older family or retired couple would be ideal for Ernie. If you are looking for a sweet, silly wonderful small lap dog, please consider Mr. Ernie!
