Eva

Eva *LOVES* her people. After being found locked inside an ottoman and left in an alley to be taken away with the trash, Eva still cannot get enough snuggles or pets. She is a true Velcro dog. When she came to EDCR, she had a shattered pelvis, and she still has some nerve damage from that injury. She will probably always walk a little funny, but she gets around fine. Eva loves her tiny human foster sibling (but loves stealing his toy balls even more), the resident pups and cats, snoozing in her favorite dog bed, and taking *short* walkies. She can take a little time to warm up to bossy or higher-energy dogs, but she co-exists perfectly after some adjustment time. She sets and respects boundaries. Eva is approximately 7 years old and weighs about 55 lb. If you're interested in Eva, please submit an application to adopt at edcr.org! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Each dog in our rescue is in a loving foster home, where they can grow, play, and recover from their time spent on the streets or in a shelter.
