EZ

EZ is aptly named as he is an easy buddy to hang out with! He's pretty laid back, handler oriented and has a bright personality! Poor guy is definitely stressed in the shelter and is wondering how he got here. He'd love a one way ticket out of here! Very chill box- relaxed around me but didn't initiate too much interaction. He lovesssss butt scratches and rubs all over, and will lean right into me when he's getting them. Was very easy to walk and direct on leash. Saw another dog from afar and didn't have much reaction. Very good boy today! Per Staff 6/27/24: EZ was lying at the front of the kennel and stood up when he saw me. He had soft eyes and a neutral body. He allowed me to easily leash him. Hesitant to return to kennel and had to use moderate leash pressure, tried to bust back out. EZ was stressed in the room and was whining, panting and focused on exits a lot. He was friendly though and wanted to stay near me in the room and would seek out comfort from me often. He allowed all handling while remaining loose and would lean against me as I pet him. He had no interest in treats while out. He would stress jump on me at times as well. Engaged in some play but was stressed and would lose interest quickly and was stressed. Jumpy. Per Staff 6/26/24: On 6/26 during an intake exam staff noted: EZ had fleas and hair loss on his back end but was otherwise noted to be in good general health.
