My Story

Farley is a poor little soul that suffered terrible neglect. His coat was a mess and his little body was starved. He has been clipped and has been eating like crazy. His hip bones are no longer visible and he is a very active little boy. Farley is a purebred miniature schnauzer about 7-8 months old. The vet said he has some loose knees but that they may never bother him. He must be kept in proper weight and not allowed to become overweight. He likes to play with other small dogs who don't play too rough. He would not be a good companion for a large active dog. This little guy has a lot to learn and one of them is housetraining. I doubt that he ever got any training by his previous owner. Schnauzers are a very smart bred and whoever gives Farley the love and time that he requires will be well rewarded. Farley has been neutered, microchipped, on heartworm preventative and his shots are up-to-date. His adoption fee of $400 includes the $125 transport fee to get him to CT from a high kill TN shelter. If you are interested in Farley please request and return a questionnaire. The home that fits Farley best will be chosen. CT adoptions only.
