He is looking for a patient, loving owner who's ready to help him slowly reach his puppy milestones! Ferdinand is a medium energy, where he loves to frolick in the grass and then crash hard with a nap for hours. He gets along well with other dogs and would likely be fine with or without a canine sibling. Because Ferdinand is experiencing a lot of new firsts, he'd likely do best in a home with older, dog-savvy kids who can give him space to get to know them first. He is a smart boy who is crate-trained and house-trained. Ferdinand is crated occasionally during the day and overnight without any issue. He may whimper for a minute or two when you get ready to leave but settles quickly. Ferdinand has had zero accidents since coming north and thrives on being taken out on a regular schedule and routine. He is working on his leash skills, as he hasn't had much experience, and will look to you for extra guidance and reassurance as he navigates his new environment.
