This 15 lb 4 month old, mix breed, blind puppy is ready to take on the world and is looking for a partner! Unfortunately just like her sight, her future wasn’t looking very bright, poor Fig is mostly blind. Thankfully, some amazing people stepped in and reached out to us to ensure she had a bright future. Fig has a few things to tell you about herself: “Guys, I can still kind of see! Sometimes I run into things, yes, oops. But sometimes I stop short and don’t! Along with that, I have an exceptional nose and hearing. My foster momma thinks I would excel at scent work. I would do best with a bigger doggo buddy, I use my big foster brother as a guide to get around, especially if we’re out in the yard. I can get around fine in the house on my own but if I’m out and about, having my foster brother with me really helps! Sometimes I wear a "Halo" which helps me not bump into things in the house! I also am able to follow my foster mom around by listening/smelling closely, I am very smart and am learning recall already! I am extremely food motivated, you have food? I’m there! I also love to run around and play, just like a normal puppy!! Would you open your heart to me? I can see myself being an adventure dog, the big world doesn’t scare me, I want to experience it all. We are a foster-based rescue organization and all of our intakes spend time in our foster program so that we can get to know them and find the best possible match!
