Meet handsome FINN, quite the debonair Border Collie Mix. He’s neutered, four years old, about fifty-five pounds and full of healthy energy. He shares his sweet nature with both humans and dogs, although he is somewhat dogs selective--he gets along best with female dogs--he does not care for male dogs his size or larger. But once he likes a dog, he is very happy to be with them.
After being transported from Texas to a Washington shelter, Finn was quite fearful and unsure about trusting people at first. After only a few days, he felt safe. Structured visitor introductions help him relax and trust others when in new situations. He will do best in a home where he is not left alone for long hours, he feels reassurance by his people's presence.
Finn is a genuinely happy dog and enjoys playing with a Labrador Retriever and several small dogs.
Physical activity is important for this very playful guy. He’s super smart & learns quickly. He is very calm in the house and outrageously loyal.
