This beautiful southern belle has the SOFTEST ears you’ll ever pet. She loves having her ears and belly scratched. She’ll gladly drop to the floor and show you her belly for a big rub. Flora is about 2 years old and weighs 57 lbs. She’s crate-trained and sleeps through the night without a peep. She even chooses to nap in her crate during the day. Flora loves to snuggle and will sit right by your feet, putting her head on your leg while you pet her. Sometimes, she melts into the floor, just so happy for love. Her ultimate nighttime routine would include sitting in your lap like a baby and falling asleep with her head on your shoulder. Flora loves taking walks! She walks nicely on a leash, though she will try to chase if she sees a bunny. She enjoys sniffing and exploring the neighborhood. Flora is house-trained and goes to the door when she needs to go to the bathroom. She previously played with dogs at the shelter and enjoys their company. Flora’s ideal home would have a fenced-in yard or someone committed to ensuring she gets daily exercise. She loves playing fetch, always bringing the ball back and waiting for you to throw it again. Flora enjoys chewing on bones and antlers, and she's great at occupying herself with them or playing on her own. Although she’s not allowed stuffed toys because she destroys them, she’s learning to play tug with rope toys and really loves that too! Flora is very smart! She already knows ‘sit’ and ‘down’ and listens well when told ‘no.’ She’s working on “leave it.” Flora June is one of a kind and can’t wait to meet her new family!
