We are happy to help our devoted rescue friends by freeing up a space and bringing him up north, where we know there are many loving, pampering homes that are looking for a 4-legged family member. Sweet Forrest has been enjoying home and family life while in foster care, and although he is shy upon meeting new humans and dogs, he thoroughly enjoys their company after proper intros. He makes an excellent companion! He has been good with his southern foster's kids, and walks gently on leash. He does ok once in a car, but he is very scared of getting in and has to be lifted in. He was found as a stray in an area where it's not uncommon for people to drive their dogs far out and dump them to fend for themselves - this is just a guess at his past but we're hoping that the trust and positive reinforcement of a loving family can help re-write whatever made the poor pup scared <3 His southern foster says he is a very good boy and an all-around cool dog to have by your side!
