Francis is a gentle giant. He was on his own for some time and no one was able to catch him until our dog wardens were able to get him. He is the chillest dog around and just wants to be loved on. He is still a little skittish and anxious at times so patience will be required. He would be great with kids and fine with other dogs, and he pays no mind to cats. He loves to be petted at all times. He is a master counter surfer and will finish off anything you’ve left there for him. He would be fine with younger kids as well as he is quite gentle. He has an issue with his back right leg. The vet thinks that when he was on his own he might have gotten it caught on barbed wire and it did some damage. He manages it well though and it doesn’t seem to bother him. He is currently on an antibiotic for lymes disease but he was heartworm negative.
