Found tied up in front of a supermarket, FRANKIE is a friendly energetic but slightly wary, Rottweiler pup who likes to play with other medium and large dogs, but needs help with with his greeting skills. He is very sweet with people. He is healthy, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. and is just waiting for that special adopter who wants to go hiking or running with him, or let him romp around a big yard (holla, NJ and Long Island!). He’s a real velcro dog and wants to be with his person as much as he can.
Frankie loves to play with balls, all sizes and would do so for hours if he had the opportunity. He is still a bit gangly and uncoordinated and does not quite understand that he is too big to get the ball from under the sofa. As such, we don’t think he would fit a home with children under 12 (too much risk of him grabbing a ball or something that looks like one from their hands) .
He seems to be a very good ratter or mouser.
