FRANZ Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus is proud to introduce Franz, a wonderful 2 year old Doberman Pinscher. Franz was surrendered to a shelter and his owners only indicated that they could not keep him due to allergies. Many of our orphans enter our program not only homeless, but nameless as well. When we reviewed the surrender sheet his owners were required to complete, they left his name blank. This Dober-guy is no longer homeless because he has a wonderful foster family taking care of him. He is also no longer nameless as Franz now bears the name of his own Guardian Angel, a very special "Franz" who surprised us last Christmas by making an incredible donation to our organization allowing us to continue to rescue homeless (and nameless) Dobermans in need. To honor our wonderful friend Mary Franz, we have named this beautiful Doberman Pinscher after her as a small gesture of our immense gratitude for her unselfish generosity. We know Mary's greatest desire would be that her namesake find his forever home. If you have room in your heart and a leg to lean upon, this energetic young man has a lot of love to share.
