Fredrick (Loki)

This is Loki, he is a sweet and smart Belgian Malinois. He was born in December of 2022 and is weighing in at 73lbs. He is neutered and up to date on all shots. Loki is house trained and is fully kennel trained. He will go to his kennel when asked (some may call this place, but we just say kennel). He is trained in basic obedience and knows sit, down(lay), stand, stay for about 30 sec, come, paw(shake) and we are working on heal and some other advanced training. When it is time to eat, he does give paw and boops our hand before being released with "good boy" to eat. Loki is good with other large dogs and older children. He does have a high prey drive so he would not do well in a home with cats, small dogs or other small animals. Loki does jump so he would need at least a 6ft fenced in yard or be on a tie. When eating he does protect his food bowl and may growl to show a dog that may be getting too close that it is his and he will not be sharing. He has shown no aggression towards other dogs, but it does take him a little time to warm up to dogs he does not know. As of right now he is eating 2.5-3 cups of food for breakfast and dinner. He does also get treats throughout the day and bones once in a while. Anything outdoors he loves, playing in the snow or just chasing a ball. He walks well on a leash and loves to go for hikes and walks. Loki would do well with a person who is willing and able to focus on training with him.
