She's no frills, just a tail-waggin' good time! Hi, pals! My name is Fru Fru. My name might make me sound like a high-maintenance gal, but I'm an easy-going goofball who is as sweet as can be. I'm an 9-year-old, 30-pound shepherd mix. I was recently rescued from the terrifying conditions at ESLR in Ensenada. There, I was attacked by another dog and my leg was badly injured. When I was rescued, I became a fabulous tripod! I don't let this slow me down and I'm still as playful as a pup. I'm oh-so appreciative of this second chance at life and can't wait to find my furever family to spend it with. I'm an outgoing girlie who gets along with people and other pooches. I love playing with doggy pals and will never turn down a walk. I haven't met any cats or kids, so I'm not sure about them. Although I can bring the energy, I also make a superb couch potato. Whether it's basking in the sun or snoozing at your feet at a brewery, I'm a laid-back lady. I'm super affectionate, cuddly, and adore my humans! I'm trained in all departments which makes the people very happy. I'm food-motivated and eat a special prescription kidney dry food (Science Diet K/D and Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Adult Renal Support- monthy cost for both foods ~$140). I can get my bloodwork rechecked in November & February! I'm not a huge fan of loud noises and may bark but otherwise, I'm as cool as a cucumber. No separation anxiety here! Not to brag but I'm truly the perfect pup with so much love to give. I have a lot of pep in my step and I'm playful but I mellow out when needed. I'd do fine as a solo pup, but a home with another dog who can show me the ropes would be ideal! I love to be out and about so I'd do great in an active household.
