Fuij

Fuji is a 12 yr old (this spring), black and white, neutered male Shitzu whom I adopted in Jan 2007. The story that the shelter folks where I adopted him told me was that he was a Katrina dog from the Baton Rouge, LA region. Apparently after Katrina he had gotten glaucoma in his left eye and since the condition was not treated he was blind in the left eye. I had that eye removed right after I adopted him as it seemed to bother him. He has been fine since. He loves to cuddle, hike and sit in the sun.In Sept 2008 he had a wound to his right eye which was treated and has some residual scarring. He does see OK and has no trouble with going on walks or finding his way. Do to circumstances beyond my control, I can no longer keep him.
