I am a neutered male Great Dane/Hound cross (about two years old) and I LOVE people. I am very obedient and love to go for relaxing walks. I am great with cats and am an indoor dog. I love to be brushed and I will even let you clean my ears, trim my nails and brush my teeth. I am a very mellow and friendly dog, but I do not like living with other dogs. I tend to get a bit jealous, and want to be the king of the castle. But with a Galoot in your life who needs more than one dog!
Galoot is a low-medium energy dog who deefinately enjoys his walks. He has really good manners. He is also excellent at the vet and groomers and I have been able to do anything to him (trim nails, brush teeth, clean ears, etc.). He will sit for his food and will wait for permission to eat. He is good with the cats and is very well-mannered on a leash. He tends to be good with female dogs, and also gets along with some males. He can be around other dogs (walking etc.) and enjoys it. He is a very fast learner and really aims to please. He weighs about 105lbs but is not quite as tall as a pure-bread Dane.
