Gemma

Gemma was surrendered to the shelter due to the health of her owner. She was reportedly house trained and love to play games. Gemma has lived with other dogs and teenage children as well. Gemma is currently living in a foster home. Her is her bio, written by her foster, "Gemma is a very good easy dog! She does not bark much if at all, plays well with all dogs and is trust worthy to roam alone in the home while we are gone! She loves to swim and hike yet is calm inside, as well as potty trained. She is well mannered and does not jump on us when we come home and tolerates the our wild puppy. She responds well to leash training though she is very timid if a stranger tries to approach/ pet her.... Some loud noises make her nervous as well since I live next to rail roads. She was shy with my boy friend for the first day but then warmed up. She warmed up to me in an hour and has been right by my side looking for affection ever since. Oh! And she has one eye which makes her extra cute." She sounds like a great girl! Gemma does not react to stray cats and pigeons on walks so likely would do well with a cat with slow introductions.
