You will have to excuse the picture we have of Gristle, he has a cone on his head to eye surgery and it doesn't do him justice! Gristle is a BIG boy and a big goof. We believe that he is a younger adult and has handle little training. He is a big sweetie and loves affection. We have been unable to asses Gristle properly with dogs because of his surgery. He had inverted eyelids and needed surgery on both eyes.
Gristles size and energy may overwhelm small children, and he would be best suited to a home with older children. We would like to see Gristle live with a family that has experience with large dogs and his breed.
Since Gristle has not been assessed with other dogs, we would need to introduce him to any other dogs living in the house.
