**ADOPTED 4/21/09!!!** Meet Griz, a big flashy 3yr old teddy bear! He gets his strikingly handsome looks from his show line pedigree. But that's just the tip of the iceberg with this guy. He is a fun dog, smart and enthusiastic, with lots of young, almost puppy-like energy. This boy will bring a smile to your face with his bouncy and affectionate ways. He can snuggle with the best of them, and he'd be happy to show you he can fit on your lap. He was well loved in his previous home, maybe even a little too well loved. He's on a bit of a diet, and it's going great. He's almost down to a slim 58. Griz knows sit, down, and come when they're reinforced, but we're really looking for an adopter who would take him through an obedience class to work on his consistancy, keeping all 4 on the flour, as well as leash skills. We think Griz will make you proud and be the class star too! This guy calms right down and pays attention with a loving, but firm and consistent trainer. No need to be harsh, as he really does want to be a good boy, it's just that sometimes his enthusiasm gets the best of him. This is a really neat dog with tons of potential as an obedience trial dog, and he would make a really fun companion for an active home. Give this guy a chance to be your next dream dog. Griz just needs a fair and consistent leader to help him sharpen up his skills and an active life where he gets to DO FUN STUFF!! Griz is house broken, crate trained, playful with dogs, and he loves kids. Due to his enthusiasm, no kids under 6 please, no cats, and you must have a securely fenced yard.
