Most of our dogs are at the shelter but some are in foster homes. Before being adopted all dogs will spend 2 weeks in quarantine, receive 2 sets of vaccines, be dewormed twice, if over 6 months of age they will be tested for heart worms, and they will be spayed or neutered. The local adoption fee is $100. The out of state adoption fee is $125 which does not include transportation fees. 9/24/09 I am a handsome, well built young dog (almost a year old) of unknown parentage. I am medium sized with tan short hair and a black muzzle. I was picked up along with my siblings by the police because my owners were not treating us very well. We came to the Humane Society in January when we were 8 weeks old. I think I would be much happier being an only dog. Please stop by today and just consider giving me a "forever" home.
