This is Harrison, a 2-3 yr old shih tzu baby. He came to SSTR by way of animal control. He was a stray and in very bad shape. His eyes were so bad that one had reputured. SSTR took Harrison to the Eye Care Specialists and kind doctors performed a Conjunctival Graft and Coneal Graft on this poor baby. A $1,149.00 surgery.



His eyes were swollen shut when we picked him up from the doctor. But as you can see in the pics... he is doing just great.


7/28/04.....We are taking him back to the vet this coming week for a check up and hopefully we can get the all 'all clear' to remove the E Collar :)



This baby is precious. He is so loving. This is simply amazing, he was in such a state of neglect when picked up. But nonetheless, he is here and we are in love.



He is up to date on shots and heart worm negative. He will require eye drops for the rest of his life, but if you have time to brush your teeth, you have time to put a drop in each of this wonderful baby's eyes.
