Greetings from Chicago English Bulldog Rescue! We are one-and-only English Bulldog rescue in the state of Illinois recognized by the Bulldog Club of America and the Bulldog Club of America Rescue Network! What that means for adopters and surrendering families and shelters is that our bullies get the highest level of care and commitment. They spend their time with us in foster homes where they get daily love and attention. No cages, no institutions.

We are an Illinois licensed shelter and a 501c3 charitable organization. The care we provide our English bulldogs, including a high quality diet, the best veterinary care from a bulldog specialist, and behavioral evaluations, exceeds any rescue organization around. Our adoption area includes Chicago-proper and the surrounding suburbs, Northern Illinois, Southeastern Wisconsin, Northwest Indiana, Rockford, and parts of Milwaukee including the Waukesha and Burlington areas. Aloha! My name is Heidi (as in Heidi Klum..the super model) because I am so darn cute and can walk the runway…you should see my stomp! I came to CEBR from another rescue because I was having severe respiratory problems. After months of care, those are ALL gone! I am ready for my new home and am excited to settle in! I am up-to-date on all of my shots, spayed and microchipped!

I am a typical puppy at 8 months old! I am house trained – but of course still a rascal! I am an avid chewer and am beginning to learn what is appropriate to chew and what is not. Patience and diligence will also be required in this area. Otherwise, I am very easy to handle. I am very loving and playful, and I have been great with the 2 other dogs in my foster home. I have also been good with the kids I have been around. At my young age, I would obviously like to be in a situation where there is someone around most of the day and where I can have a structured schedule. I am currently being crate-trained and I get excellent marks. I sleep quietly through the night and don’t mind going in during the day as long as you give me lots of lovin’ and play time to tucker me out. I have a feeling I would just love for my adoptive family to take me to a puppy class to learn more manners and to socialize with some other pups.
