 One eyed Jack …..

 

Sweet one year old male neutered Jack Russell/Fox Terrier mix about 22 pounds.

 

Poor Jack lost a fight with a cat and subsequently lost his eye…. He is a great dog, loves people and gets along great with other dogs. Jack is completely housetrained and can hold it 8 hours. Jack walks well on a leash and is learning his basic commands.

 

Jack is a bit shy at first (5 minutes) especially if you approach him from the blind side but he warms up quick and loves to play …. He is mellow on the house and he plays well with children 12 and up.  He is still adjusting to the blindside so we are not recommending children under 12 or cats. Perhaps a quieter enviornment. He is in perfect health.

The Adoption Facts:

 

• You must be 21 years or older to adopt
• We DO NOT place pets more than 150 miles of NYC
• An adoption application is required
• There is a pre-screening process for potential home placement, following a review of the initial application. (This benefits you, us, and the pet.) This is all done BEFORE you meet the pet.
• Be advised that we do respond to each and every application within a 14 day period. Please be patient we know you are anxious to adopt there are only so many hours in a day. We are trying our best.
• Completing an application does not guarantee you will adopt this pet only that your home will be considered.
