Jack

Jack just turned 6 years old 2 weeks ago. For his birthday, he was released from his former "job" and is now seeking a position as friend and trusted companion to an individual with a lot of love to give. You see, Jack is very afraid. He doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body, but will "freeze" and hit the ground if you make any sudden moves toward him. What Jack really needs is a loving friend, who will sit and hold him for long periods of time until he gets over his fear of humans. Remember, it took 6 years for him to become this afraid and it won't go away overnight. It will, however get steadily better with love and attention.

Jack is healthy and quite handsome, has been neutered and had his smile brightened with a teeth cleaning. He is not potty trained, but with some help from his forever family, he will be a great indoor pet in no time. Do you have the time and, more importantly, the love to give this little guy?

Oklahoma Westie Rescue will only adopt to applicants who reside within the following states: OK, AR, MO, KS and TX. If you live outside these areas OR if you have children under the age of 10, please do not apply for this dog.
