Update from foster mom: These two boys are a delight to foster. They are 17 pounds and ready to go to their furever home. The two boys love each other so would be great to be adopted together but will do fine if they have to be adopted seperately. 6/23/08 – Jimmy, Jake and Lexi are three siblings rescued from a rural shelter in Virginia. They are adorable 12 week old black lab mix puppies. They are very active and just love all the attention they can get. Jimmy and Jake are being fostered together and follow each other around all the time. Since they are lab mixes they could become medium to large sized dogs. What we do know is that now they have a second chance at a wonderful home. They are working hard on their crate and housetraining and just a joy. The puppies are up to date on their shots according to their age, they have been dewormed and tested. Puppies are very cute, however they will soon grow into full-scale dogs, so any person interested in adopting one of these little ones will have to be familiar with the specific needs of a puppy. You'll need to understand crate and housetraining (ARF can help you as well), and you need to be able to check on the pet (or have a pet sitter) check on the pet during the day. It's not a good idea to get a puppy if you work 12 hours a day away from home, for example.
