My Story

Remember JASMINE & ARIEL from IACS? They are 3 year old mixed breeds who were owner surrendered to the county shelter when their owner became homeless and was living with the girls in a car. They were too undersocialized for the IACS adoption program and scheduled to be euthanized due to lack of space. They are now settling in well at our rescue house. Ariel (cream) is the more curious and brave of the two while Jasmine (black/white) can be more reserved and reactive when meeting new people, but she does warm up once she trusts you! They've met other dogs (their size and smaller) and done well with both. Jasmine tends to follow Ariel's lead when meeting new people, and they get along very well together. We would love to see the duo go to a home together, however we don't think they are truly bonded and believe they could be separated. We are limited on what we can provide in the environment they are currently in, so we would love to see them find fosters or adopters ASAP to get more individualized attention and training to continue working on their socialization! If you're interested in fostering or adopting, complete an application on our website at www.tailsandtrails.org!
