Jeremy-adopted

JEREMY is a wonderful 4-year old purebred, ABCA registered Border Collie looking for permanent home. He is a strong, healthy and very handsome smooth coated male who was raised on a family farm and has lived all his life on a small farm. Accordingly, it is preferred that Jeremy be adopted by someone who lives in a rural or semi-rural setting.

He comes with a large variety of social skills and excellent training. He quickly transferred all his devotion, affection and skills to his foster mom and has adapted beautifully to his new environment. Jeremy is very obedient and eager to please. He knows all his basic commands (sit, lie down, etc.), has an iron-clad recall, is crate trained, housetrained and rides well in a vehicle.

Jeremy is friendly and well-socialized, and was raised with children, other dogs, cats and a variety of farm animals. He has been well taught not to bother chickens and never to chase livestock. Jeremy has a nice, mellow and sensible personality and would be suitable for a retired farmer or a first-time Border Collie owner who'd love to have a constant companion to ride around in the truck or on a 4-wheeler. He would adapt to going along on trail rides. He would learn any new household or farm routine or rules easily. As a sideline, Jeremy could also do pet therapy work because he is very gentle and extremely affectionate.

Jeremy is up to date on all vaccinations, is heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped.
