My Story

Meet JoJo! This is one dog who is laidback and just wants to be loved by someone! JoJo is an old soul in a young body. He really is not a dog that will play with children by fetching and all of that. He would be a great companion dog for a single person....an older person....someone who doesn't want to keep having to correct a younger playful michievious puppy. This adult boy thinks that chewing on his rawhide is one of his favorite things to chew on (or playing tug-o-war with the other foster girl dog). No sign of food aggression what so ever. He gets along with the cat and is happy to take a walk or a ride in the car. He is a calm but happy guy. JoJO is 36 lbs and a year and a half to two years old. What a handsome man he would be for a family to walk and run with and just have as a wonderful companion! JoJo must have been on the street for a while because it took him a while to learn that a home was a nice place he could trust. He has a bit of a sad soulful look on his face sometimes. Like he has seen too much that was not nice in life. We would love to see JoJo smile all the time because he has found a family to love him. He is working on housetraining and coming along with that. A little more time and patience on someone's part and he will be the perfect laidback dog that is a forever part of your family. He is great with children......cats....other dogs....and just doesn't push you to make a fuss over him.
