Another KASSIE day! Here are some pictures of Kassie, finally. She is doing great and is becoming a little more relaxed around us. She doesn't feel the need to follow us everywhere we go, but if you walk back into a room where she is laying, you will hear the familiar thump-thump-thump of her tail welcoming you back. She is also coming along nicely with her sit and down commands. She takes treats nicely from the hand and is rather smart. She is a great companion.

FROM HER FOSTER PARENTS: Kassie has seamlessly blended into our family. Now that she knows what toys are for, she is content to entertain herself. Although she is confident in who she is, she likes to check in with you once in a while. She is also a great hang out partner. She is interested in what you are doing and will follow you around the house, but if you stay put for a while, she will nap. During puppy dreams, her lips will quiver and her paws will move as she is saving the day. She is a love bug and loves to have you down on her level telling her what a good girl she is. When you are down on her level, she isn't a licker or hyper at all. Kassie is 100% housebroken. She responds quickly to correction and understands "leave it" and positive reinforcement. Kassie knows how to fetch and actually brings the ball back. Although she perfers to be with her humans, she shows no sign of seperation anxiety, chewing or any bad habits when left on her own. We are working her on her leash manners. She plays very well with her foster brothers (dogs) and ignores the foster sisters (cats). Kassie is very easy to have around the house. Kassie is going to make a wonderful addition to the lucky person who spots her first.

We believe Kassie is a Chow and Yellow Lab mix(possibly Golden Retriever in her mixed breed heritage as well.) She is approximately 10 months of age. If you are interested in this gem of a girl please email [email protected] for our adoption application. Kassie's adoption fee is $125.
