Little Katie is 8 weeks old in this pic weighing in at 12 pounds so should be a large girl when fully grown. Katie is named after her mother Katie Bell who is a purebred pyr. They were rescued with her siblings from a family who didn’t have any time for them. Katie loves to explore and play and loves other dogs. She is fine with children and cats and is working on her housebreaking and cratetraining. this pup will not be available for adoption until age12 weeks which is at the end of March. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
