My Story

I’ll bet you’ve never seen markings like mine on many dogs! I am an unusual Siberian husky/yellow Lab mix and have the most arresting mask on my face, which blends beautifully with my Lab-type coat. I am a 14-year-old, neutered gentleman who has been described as mild-mannered and ever so sweet by my foster mom and dad. They would LOVE to keep me, but they are “into” traveling the world a lot now and they feel that it wouldn’t be fair to leave me at a kennel for long periods of time. Although I’m entering my golden years, I am very healthy for my age (I’m a little creaky here and there and am a bit hard of hearing, but then so are lots of people in Green Valley!). The vet says that I will have a good deal of time left to spend enjoying life, so I am dearly hoping that there will be a nice, quiet, couple or person out there that will give me the chance to do just that. I promise that I’ll make your life a lot brighter if you do! Sunday, May 15, 2008
