LAURA-ADOPTED!

MEET LAURA This gal is such a huggable girl! She is our pointer mom who is truly going to make someone an incredible companion. She is a purebred English pointer girl currently weighing 30lbs. We believe she is 1 1/2 years of age. She is a miracle girl who was rescued within hours of not making it out of the shelter. What a blessing to have been a small part of this girl's rescue. Not only are her pups ready for new homes, but Laura now too is hoping to win over a new family.

Laura is currently in a loving foster home receiving loads of post-mommy-hood pampering...well deserved we must say! She has that endearing 'velcro-type' dog mentality in always being content alongside her favorite person or admirer. (trust, us, she has many!!) We cannot say enough wonderful things about this girl. She is ready for a life full of companionship, love and devotion. (...might we add that she plans to continue enjoying the princess life she has come to know - snuggling, sleeping in and sharing that BIG smile of hers!) She will most definitely give back that commitment ten-fold.

From Laura's foster mom:

I am pleased to tell you this is one charming little dog! Now that’s she’s has some time to check out the routine and the cast of characters, she’s pretty much completely at home. She’s a wonderful lap dog and snuggler, and positively respectful of all cats, giving them a wide berth, just to be safe, but not caring a bit when one forces its way onto the same lap she’s already snuggled into. No problem, as long as she gets to stay where she is, she says. Whatever energy she sends out certainly doesn’t incite dogs or cats to worry or riot and we think that’s a great quality of character. “Laura” is bright, eager to please, quick to learn. She’s clearly pleased when we figure out something she already knew and praise her for showing us. She even scratches at the door when she’d like to got out - though that’s not necessarily a need to go potty, but also a serious desire to go adventuring.
