Libby is Adopted

Libby will be fostered in Elyria Ohio, and he adoption donation is $250

Libby is a 1 yr old white cocker-poodle mix (cock a poo) with a natural tail.
She has had a very rough life for such a young girl, she was found on a road in Michigan, where she had been left, after being hit by a car,and was extremely matted and underweight.
A good samaritan, who works at a vets office, took her right to the vet, where she was examined, and found to have a fractured pelvis. She has been well cared for by Dr Joe (the attending veterinarian), and the staff there, and is healing nicely.
Libby may still require surgery to repair her pelvis, but it will take another month or so to determine, whether or not it will be necessary.
Dr Joe has generously offered to do the surgery at no cost!! (THANK YOU Dr. JOE!!!) This offer stands for her adoptive home as well.
She will still need alot of rest in the next month, which we will be sure she gets, along with a healthy diet, to get her weight where it should be (currently at 20 lbs).

We will update more as she progresses. So far,she is getting around remarkably well, and you would not even know she had any problem at all.
The staff at the vets say she is an absolute sweetheart, and has been a complete Angel throughout her care with them.
They are so happy to see her coming into a rescue/foster home, where she can get the love and attention she so deserves.

Stay tuned for updates, as she will be coming into our rescue the weekend of sept 12th, and will be evaluated further.

Libby is spayed, up to date on vaccines,and is heartworm negative.

In some cases we may be able to assist with transport.
