Meet Lucas! Lucas and his siblings were born on 2/28/2024 at Polk County Animal Control. Luckily a wonderful foster stepped in and volunteered to take them in along with their mom. Lucas is currently 4.5 months old and wants to be in his forever home already!
Lucas is the smallest one of the bunch but don't let this small guy fool you, he's incredibly intelligent! Out of the bunch he is the only one who actually knows his name the best! Given his current weight and him being the smallest we assume he will be a smaller medium sized dog most likely in the 45/50 lb range. His mom weighs 57 lbs but is very short and stocky and dad was unknown.
From Lucas's foster mom: "Lucas is a troublemaker in a fun way. This guy loves for me to yell LUCAS what are you doing?! He may be tiny but he thinks he is bigger than a bear. A very playful boy with tons of personality. He is sweet as can be."
Lucas is looking for a family that is ready to take on all that comes with owning a puppy. Lotto has been extremely well socialized and is friendly to all. Given his age he would be find to go to any family with or without other dogs, cats or kids. He will need crate and house training and all the other basic trainings that a puppy entails.
Lucas is UTD on all puppy shots, dewormed, neutered and microchippped. He is current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. His foster is located in Rome, GA where is available for meet and greets locally. He can also be adopted out of state to approved adopters- a transport fee would apply in addition to his adoption fee.
