Luna's rescuer wrote this bio about this wonderful girl.
'This is Luna! A lab/pit mix and a real sweetheart. I've been visiting her at the kennel everyday, and she's the sweetest thing in the world. My boss and I rescued her recently. She had a bum leg and a bum owner, who was neglecting her, but thanks to a little love from me and from my boss, she's doing great! She's had all of her shots, she's spayed and had surgery on her leg and is coming along fabulously.
Briefly...
She was wandering alone in the park near Coldwater Cyn, when a good friend of my bosses was off walking her dog. The two dogs hit it off, and the good friend lured her to her home, seeing that she looked like she had not eaten and had an extremely bad limp. Knowing the animal lover that my boss is, they called her to track down the owner.
We were able to track down the owner, a 19 year old girl, who said she was a very sweet dog but was unable to care for her and no longer wanted responsibility of her.
So, my boss took full ownership. We then took her to my bosses vet, they performed surgery on her, and she is doing GREAT! All vet bills to get her on her feet again will be handled by my boss, BUT she needs a home! She is going to make someone so happy.'
