Hi there, my name is MacIver, Mack to my friends. I was found wandering the streets, covered in fleas and ticks when the animal shelter snagged me.

I was happy when WROC found me, but was very shy at first, not sure what would happen to me. But they cleaned me up, gave me some great new food and a new haircut, but most of all they gave me lots of love which made me very happy.

I am an active, strong, 25 pound, approximately 4 year old Westie. I love long walks, playing with my toys, and riding in the car. I am crate, leash, and house trained. I like being the center of attention, but I do play well other Westies. Waiting for you with warm westie kisses, MacIver

Our rescues are placed on PetFinder and our website at www.WestieRescueOC.com. All of our rescues are fostered in private homes throughout California where they receive medical care and rehabilitation. Not all of our rescues are posted until they are ready for adoption as all rescues are evaluated by their foster home over a 3 - 4 week period (sometimes longer). When we place a rescue, we try to do everything we can to make this transition their very last.
