Madison

Madison is a 2 year old, 11 pound boy who came to Metropolitan Maltese Rescue when his elderly owner became ill and could no longer care for him. He is a sweet, friendly boy who has adjusted quickly to his foster home. When Madison first arrived he was in need of a groom, neuter and dental and now with all of his needs taken care of he is looking for a special family to call his own.

Madison is doing very well with his housebreaking skills and will require a home where he will to be taken out on a routine schedule to continue his success. He plays nicely with his foster brother, a 4 year old male Maltese; showing submissive tendencies. Madison has not interacted with cats but based on his gentle demeanor he should be okay in a home with a dog-loving cat.

While Madison does enjoy playing with other dogs he is just as happy sitting on his fosters families lap. He will make a wonderful companion for a lucky family

He looks to his people for security and structure, but mostly for love. He'll walk on his hind legs to make sure you see him, to get a pat on the head, or perhaps you'd like a little kiss on your hand.
