Maggie

Maggie is an approximately 5 year old brittany spaniel mix with a lot of energy and love to share. She is orange and white and the softest dog you will ever pet! She will follow you throughout the house, keep your feet warm in the evenings, and loves to go on walks/runs! She was originially rescued from a shelter in Kentucky. She loves to be outside and go on runs on the trail and/or take a dip in the creek. She plays fetch and does know most of the basic commands (come, sit, stay, drop it). She is currently up to date on all her shots/vaccines. She is spayed, microchipped, and housebroken. She does love to interact with certain dogs of similar build/character. She is an alpha dog and it is helpful to have knowledge of a brittany’s energy. She is protective and will bark or growl at perceived intruders and is an excellent watch dog! History: Maggie has been living with us for over two years. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Kentucky. She does not do well with cats or small dogs. She would do well in a home without kids. Maggie is an owner surrender as she does like to chase kids that pass through the yard. She is trained on the electric fence, but a fenced in yard would be ideal.
