MAGGIE is a product of the economic chaos that is troubling America at present. This gorgeous, 65 lb, 2.5 yr old Bearded Collie/Great Pyrenees mix for the past year has lived in big house, with a large yard....but they have had to downsize to a 1 bedroom apartment with NO YARD. This doesn't work for Maggie. The first 1.5 years of her life were hell. She was rescued and brough from Kansas (confiscated by the state because of cruelty, spent 1.5 years outside tied to a tree). Considering all that has gone on in her life....Maggie is a LOVE, loves to kiss, loves her toys and loves to "hi 5". She plays HARD with other dogs...like a puppy -- but definitely needs a confident canine companion! She has been professionally trained on and off for a year; knows commands and is very responsive.....but is bursting at the seams with energy!! She is housebroken, good with other dogs (except on leash) and needs an active human who can run and exercise this working dog. She needs a job!! She needs an alpha owner who will get her some training, take her to the park or hiking or just on long walks! Maybe even get her a treadmill!! Now the hard part...Maggie is in Boulder, CO -- BUT her mom will drive her to CA or meet part way for the right home. Contact Sandy at 303-443-7711 or email [email protected]. Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

We hold our adoption events most every Sunday from 9am - 2pm at the Brentwood Farmer's Market (West Los Angeles). You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!!
