MAGGIE **video!**

**ADOPTED 01/25/09!** Maggie has moved to Beardieville, Illinois! When asked to describe her foster dog in one word, Maggie's foster mom doesn't hesitate. She says Maggie is AWESOME! Thinking about getting involved in agility? Maggie would be a great dog to break into the sport with. Experienced at agility and looking for a new fast, willing partner? Maggie would be a perfect choice. Maggie is just one year old and very high energy. Her previous family gave her up because she was being destructive and getting into trouble. We have had none of those problems in her foster home because she is kept busy and challenged with some activities each day. Maggie has been started on agility equipment and is voracious about learning! She is a constant source of entertainment for her foster family and has a very fun loving personality. Maggie likes her toys and loves to play...either with humans or other dogs. She is good with cats and has been to a basic obedience class. Maggie would not be suitable for a family with very young children or delicate senior citizens because she does have herding tendancies. Maggie is crate trained and housetrained and loves to travel. We are estimating her weight at about 35 pounds. **This is a very intelligent dog that needs an active family that will continue working with her.** Also, please note the grooming requirements for this breed. Maggie is used to being professionally groomed every 8 weeks, but you could also do this yourself. Maggie's adoption fee is $150. Upon approval and home visit, adopters will be asked to sign a contract and pay an adoption fee (which covers the cost of spay/neuter, vaccinations and other necessities).
